December/14 back due to popular demand – Happy Holidays!

05/06/2013, winter is over – time for a spring clean

As the weather is finally showing signs of spring – or even summer – the time is ripe for a few refreshing touches on this page. The functional structure has received a few updates, and a few new portfolio pieces can be found in the work and projects sections. If you miss the animated advent calendar that previously adorned this space, fear not. It has been moved into the portfolio and can now be found here. Happy days!

On a different note, if you like what you see and would like to find out who’s behind it, why not connect with me on Linkedin? Looking forward to meeing you!

23/04/2010, welcome to the world, buzz magazine.

Blood, sweat and tears; a brand new lifestyle magazine, in print and online; concepted, designed, written and produced by postgraduates in publishing and journalism; with pride we welcome to the world: buzz (the rest is just noise).

21/01/2010, there’s more to it.

It has been almost two years since I have been able to announce news, change, an addition to this site or its surroundings. The best part of these two years I have spent in Edinburgh in a comfortable, friendly job, happy and content. In hindsight, it’s astonishing how time rushed by in a blur with the occasional glimpse at some bigger picture and little inklings to be brave and take another step, to evolve.

“Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.” Anthony J. D'Angelo

In this spirit, I have left my safe job in order to grow, and I am currently studying for an MSc Publishing with a lot of passion and an amazing opportunity to grow. Watch me.

16/03/2008, agalabagala has entered the world wide web.

It’s been an awesome few months since I re-launched my site and I’m still on it to keep it as up-to-date as possible, so you can feed on news given the opportunity. Today, I would like to proudly announce that meanwhile I have become creator and host to the website of befriended communication designer Ana Janeva, so pay her a visit, y’all! All the best.

01/01/2008, this is me.

Famous writer George Bernard Shaw once said:

"This creative man, who in his own selfish affairs is a coward to the backbone, will fight for an idea like a hero."

I reply: "I am a creative woman."

Katbits has been my digital identity for quite a while now and when I decided to rearrange, recreate, rewrite these pieces of me, what I did, what I'm doing, what I will do,... again I decided for this identity which will always represent me. Nothing could be more precise or more suitable; I am Kat, and katbits are (electronical cyberspace) pieces of me.

I would like to invite you to the challenge of putting these pieces together to visualise the person you assume is Kat; I have given you all the guidance you need. And after all, part of a person will most always be what others see in them.

Welcome to Katbits 2008, my new point of view!
