jobs, commercial experience.

The following pages introduce a selection of projects that I oversaw in the past years in a commercial environment.

I have in those years and through the projects that you will see developed a variety of professional skills. My passion in the daily challenge of keeping up with the high frequency of product innovation and changing demands of design has enabled me to keep pace with the fast-moving environment of design, typesetting and artworking.

I started of as a young design intern with Publicis Munich just after my first year at uni and, with the my seniors believing in me and my abilities, quickly learned to contribute my qualities to the team. I was entrusted my own projects and grew with the responsibility to my employer and the client.

With Siemens Karlsruhe where I worked on a contract as a student specialist I took even more responsibility for my field of expertise by working directly with the individual clients, discussing their demands and standing my point for the corporate design and professional appearance.

I then spent 7 months overseas in Canada in an internship mandatory for my university program. I was trained as a typesetter with the time just right for the new year’s catalogues and the old year’s annual reports and looking back this training has given me expertise and knowledge that I would not want to miss.

In 2006, after graduation from university with a German Diploma of Design, I left Germany again to experience the lifestyle and culture of Australia with the goal to see more of that breathtaking continent and gain some experience working in yet another part of the world. I opened my own business to be more flexible and worked as a freelancing creative. Jobs ranged from finalisation of a project already started to the complete development of a project until printed and have given me confidence in my abilities and qualities.
